2025 DMV Grant Program Recommended Projects – RECEIVE PUBLIC COMMENT; APPROVE THE DISTRICT’S 2025 DMV GRANT PROGRAM RECOMMENDED PROJECT LIST; AUTHORIZE STAFF AND LEGAL COUNSEL TO DRAFT NECESSARY PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENTS AND BRING BACK SAID AGREEMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION AT THE JULY 2025 BOARD MEETING.

Grant Agreement with the California Air Resources Board for the District to receive AB 197 Grant Funds – AUTHORIZE THE APCO TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH CARB; SUBMIT A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE BOARD RESOLUTION TO CARB AND DO ALL OTHER ACTS NECESSARY TO RESERVE AND RECEIVE AB 197 FUNDS.

Proposed Addition of one Air Quality Engineer and Deletion of two Air Quality Specialist – APPROVE THE DELETION OF THE TWO VACANT AIR QUALITY SPECIALIST POSITIONS AND THE ADDITION OF THE FULL-TIME AIR QUALITY ENGINEER POSITION. FURTHERMORE, THE MATTER SHOULD BE REFERRED TO THE KERN COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION TO AMEND THE POSITION AND SALARY SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY.
